Just snatched it from someone who probably doesn't know what a #2 phillips is !
Bought it "not running" pulled the choke out from behind the gauge area as it was hanging in there, and had a helper pull it and she fired on the third kick ! Its e-start too but not working yet. A few other small fixes besides the choke are needed before she is street worthy again. Anyway I have rode many KLRs, got to use them in the corp and work on them some too. Have to sell the DR 350, to make room for this one. I have just started to get back into the dual sport/adventure bikes for about a year now. I had been on a street bike fix for about 5 yrs before that. Until I came across the DR650 and an XT600 early last year and forgot how light and agile these bikes are ! Rode my 93 DR 650 to upstate NY and back to Houston last summer . So this one will get some miles after the proper improvements also. When the diesel model is available to the public let me in on it! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
