Hello everyone,

My name is Rodney and I recently picked up a 1999 KLR 650 with 8000 miles on the bike. It is in really good condition. I currently also own a BMW 1150R. The KLR is going to be my fun bike. I understand from KLR riders that it is recommended to upgrade the front brake line to braided stainless steel. I know that I have to get a manual. Do you guys recommend the Clymer or the original Kawasaki manual?

I would also like any recommendations from everyones collective knowledge of the bike on modifications that will help the performance of the bike. Thanks a bunch.
