Post here to show your support for the USMC MARPAT pattern for a tank vest!!!!!!

Ok... we can do desert and woodland MARPAT. For now, this is a custom order color so we will have to take the orders by phone.

I just confirmed that we can get the material in the grades that we use. If you want one, send us email at sales@tankvest.com and we'll get some made. I'll need your phone number on the email so I can contact you if there are any questions and to arrange payment.

Working on getting it in to pattern now. It's a matter of scheduling with the owner. I wish they'd used the same tank as the KLX250... then it wouldn't be a problem at all.

As for the brown side out/green side out... can you elaborate?

I think what he is suggesting is make it reversible so one side is green, flip it over (inside out) the other side brown.

Ah... We looked into doing that and realized that the PALS webbing would cause significant rubbing on the tank and could lead to damage to the tank. The other problem is the way the vest lays on the tank. the webbing would make it difficult for the vest to lay correctly in one orientation vs. the other.

Okay.

We used to get that game played upon us when the helmet covers had a green side and a brown side. You never knew what color to fall out in formation wearing. It also stood for a sarcastic plan-A / plan-B when receiving instructions for an operation.

Is Multicam available with green and brown tone's - I notice on your web site the gallery has a green tone but when I search internet for pouches and stuff some
have decided brown tones.

It's one color pattern. There is a LOT of imitation multicam out there that is off tone to avoid being smacked by IP infringement.
