JNS Skid Plate for '87-'07
Good news! I've got a mounting kit in the works that will allow the use of the JNS skid plate on the first genereation KLR650 (1987-2007). Should have prototypes in a week or two. Watch this thread for updates and pictures.

Sure! Just send me out a complimentary skid plate and I'll put it to the test and report back on how well it fares.
 BTW, I noticed on your website that the tee shirt shows a price of $0.00 and only shows the true price of $16 once you click on it. Might want to check that out and correct it before someone orders 1000 shirts @ $0.00/ea.

I just got one and mounted it on my 95. Looks solid. It looks like my oil drain plug peeks out the hole just a bit, so I will have to finally get the low profile I've been thinking about for years. A low profile should be a no brainer for us, but it seems to be more important with this skid plate. I never got one before because the old skid I had hung pretty low. Never seen another one like it before or since, and now it's gone to the desert scrap heap.
Anyway, If you find that all KLRs need a low profile plug with this skid plate, maybe you could start recommending them with the plate, and maybe even offer them for sale.
