I installed my handguards the other day but noticed that I had to modify the clutch cable routing and bend to make it work, not 100% to my liking. Is there a different clutch cable we can get that is like 2-3" longer for these bikes? I know about motion pro cables, but have read that they are poor lasting and break prematurely. any other ideas besides the hydraulic option?

I did and in my experience they offer cables of different qualities. I've had their cheap ones break and their high end last longer than I owned the bike.

Go to www.MotionPro.com Depending on application there are 5 different materials used. Nice thing with Motionpro is they make them in house and if not available they can custom one for you be that in materials and/or lengths.
