Didn't do too much exploring. The buchanan lookout road posted in the previous picture is awesome. Here's a clip from on the way up.

We also did the East wilson creek road. Its off highway 6 at Upper Rosemount. It continues to just South of Nakusp. Very nice scenery. Here's a video clip:

Could I get some information concerning your front fender and panniers/rack system? They look awesome! I would like to do something similar on my 09...

Ed,

The front fender is just a cheap UFO universal that I got from somewhere I don't remember, (but here's a link to another place that sells them). I think it was around $25. It is mounted on a fork brace (not a good one) that I think I got from Happy-Trail. I drilled & tapped it, mounted the fender, then mounted the brace/fender assembly. The hardest part was tapping the brace. All in all I'm happy with it, but I think it could be problematic in heavy mud. I don't really have to worry about that here though.

The panniers/racks are Al Jesse. I love the hell out of them, super-high quality gear, but they are NOT cheap. Here's a link: http://www.xplorermoto.com/o2klr650.html.
