If you've got any questions about the screens we've got for the KLR650 from MRA, or Givi, feel free to post here, or give one of our sales guys a buzz!

While I love the free market enterprise system that is our country I have to agree with TT on this (and I have never ordered from them). This "Sub-Forum" is sponsored by TT and was created for questions or comments about TT stuff. Surely you guys or gals can understand that. There are other places to post the aformentioned products.

Post Re: tall windshield

I am guessing Twisted Throttle paid a considerable sum to have their link placed on the opening page. Considering this, why should they allow links to other vendors or discuss products they do not sell? How fair is that either to TT or whatever other source is involved. I have dealt with them for years and they are fine folks. My Wee-Strom-my baby, was destroyed by a 20 year old kid at a stop light and I had to account for all the farkles, so I could be offered pennies on the dollar from the would be killers insurance company . TT saved me big time by sending me copies of my invoices. I had planned on 100,000 miles on that bike, chucked the inoices, did get 28,000+ on it , but people just do not pay attention when they drive. I have talked to TT many times and they know their suff, or will find out and return a call.
If one sees something out there that TT doesn't sell, then ask that vendor questions about that product, and then ask TT about what they sell. The most I think would be reasonable would be a request or suggestion that they cary a product, and leave it at that for them to decide how to run their business, and that should not be done on a public forum that they pay good advertising $ for space on.
How good would this forum be without the advertisments, all this bandwidth aint free, at least TT is a motorcycle advertiser. For what it is worth.

Ok...at the risk of being flamed to embers...I like to ride with a baseball hat. There must be more riders like me out there cuz I see them all the time but so far not on KLR's.
I'm 6' and am wondering if it is possible there is a windshield out there for my '08 that would allow for this?

I was able to find solution using the klrdash and the tall windshield from ***********. I've posted a review and a list of parts needed to mod the windshield to help with buffeting here's a link to the post: http://klr650reviews.com/2010/07/16/...shield-review/ Hopefully this helps.
