I was showing my parents where they needed to go...no really, I was giving them the visual of certain intersections and there I was.

That is so cool. I have been known to look at the street views of certain roads that attract riders just to see what got caught on camera, but I never considered that I might find myself!

That's pretty cool. I've looked for myself a dozen times in satellite photos. I can date when they were taken, but for some reason I'm missing. That's amazing you found that.

I still dont like how Google maps can do this. I have seen the front of my house with my Jeep in the driveway, the front door starting to open, and my wife and son coming out. This was taken all when I was in Iraq. The enemy in Iraq and Afghanistan use to use Goggle maps for attacks on our bases. Got to love the freedom of the internet.

That is a neat find... I missed the photo bubble but do have a Google Earth sat. photo of my sail boat out for a sail near the mouth the Techfuncte River in Lake Pontchartrain. I had zeroed in on my slip and it was empty but I could make out the KLR parked under a cypress so I went looking for the boat... needle in a hay stack the boat is small, no grand thing, a speck at search around resolutions... but when I found us and zoomed in I could make out the set of the sail by the shadow it casts.
