Default SW-MOTEC side racks

Anyone have this problem?

Just put on my SW-MOTEC side racks and 45L pantiers along with the 35L top box, everything was empty as I was going to the grocery story, and stopped for gas. I guess when I filled the tank the 'tipping point' was reached and when I replaced the nozzle and turned back around the bike tipped over for a nap.

Bent the backside of the right pantier in some and broke the weld on the front leg of the side rack, the one that bolts into the passenger peg location, at the attachment point.

Now I've got to straighten / pop out the bend in the pantier of get it square again and get the rack rewelded. Luckily I know someone that can alum weld, just a matter of him finding the time to get to it. Think that a shortening of the side stand is also in order as well.

Anyone else heve their bike take a dirt nap, while standing still, and break the weld on their side rack? A little dissapointed that the weld broke so easily.

Default Re: SW-MOTEC side racks

I've got HT racks on mine but it did the same thing without the damage. The kickstand us too long and puts the bike too upright.
