New KLR rider in Kentucky

Well I finally convinced the wife I need some me time. Well lets say I came home and said I was looking at a motorcycle, she never replied good or bad. The next day I said I need a ride to Lexington, why she asks, to PICK UP MY NEW KLR I JUT ORDERED
She never said anything again. Can I be so lucky , She maintained her silence, so, well, ummmmm, lets say over the next few days the UPS guy new my address very well. New jacket, pants, Gaerne trial boots, Caribou rack and top case. YUP Christmas for Dad came early this year ..... After two weeks of cruising around London, home, I see no one riding a dual sport. So Dad has his "ME TIME", but I would really like a riding buddy. Are there any riders near me who ride somewhat routinely?
