Just bought a blue 2008. I'm getting reaquainteed with bikes. I love the bike so far. Having a hard time finding accessories.

Welcome to the Forum! The '08's are new as far as the previous KLR's. Many updates to your bike that us older KLR owners don't have. I'm not sure what kind of accessories you're looking for. I might be mistaken, but I thought I read here recently that someone was ordering some guards for his '08.

Grand Blanc, - I grew up in Michigan and did my Student teaching at Carmen-Ainsworth. My brother currently teaches at Flint Central. Two schools you've probably heard of.

There's a forum here specifically dedicated to the '08's.

Are there any jobs to be had back in Michigan? I'd like to get back there someday.

Anyway - welcome aboard.

Edit - I've got nothing better to do at the moment, so I did a little searching. Seems Happy Trails has some things available already for the '08's. I've got a '98. I can't believe my bike's ten years old already.

What's going on? I too am in Grand Blanc. Just picked up a 2000 on my way back from Niagara. Anyhow, would be great to hook up and ride.
