Exclamation Concerns about the site?

*UPDATED* Re-Read.

If you guys have any concerns about the site, don't hesitate for a second to contact me. Some of you know exactly what I mean.
Just let me know what or who is bothering you.

Nothing can be/will be done unless you voice your concerns, because sometimes I can't read ALL of the posts.

If you have any problems with another individual, e-mail me, don't post here for help. This forum isn't for venting or debates or flaming others.

Glenn -a t- klr650.net (remove spaces and replace with @)
I do take your concerns seriously.
Feel free to voice your opinions here.

One of the things I like about this site.
You can fart and not get into trouble!
I'd already be in trouble, if that was the case!
Glenn emailed me and said:
How dare you fart before the ladies on this board!
I replied:
I'm sorry, I didn't know it was there turn!
Rod, on the wrong forum!

The politics.. the arguing. It might be a good idea to remove the politics part of the board.. I've received more than a few e-mails with complaints. To protect identities I will not name names.

I think, that as long as there is a cleary labled forum for such things, let us rant away. Those who have whatever objection would then be free to steer clear of said forum and not have their sensibilities offended.

Default Farting on klr650

So does the term "whoever smelt it, dealt it!" apply on the internet???. Maybe the person who invented junk email got the idea for the word *spam* that way. That spam stuff tastes alot better than it smells. Iwannaride

Default keep it KLR- dont spoil this site with politics!

Personally I think we're here because we're united about our passsion for the KLR650 motorcycle

Whilst I have views and opinions on the political subjects in the need to vent forum I haven't posted them, I dont think this is the right place for them.

There are forums out there catering for every passion that mankind can think of.

There are plenty of other web-forums where we can vent about politics, history, warfare, religon and the role of the US in the world today. If thats your passion go vent on thoise specialist forums, and when you've got it off your chest come back here and talk motorbikes.

THis is the best KLR650 forum, lets not let it get spoiled by non-KLR passions coming to the surface. I want to keep coming here.

In my opinion we should keep it KLR
well, harmless non KLR stuff is OK.

Just my opinion

I must admit to being just as opinionated as the next person but im kinda of swinging to Big Chris's idea. Its alright having a moan but it can easily become to personall, even with the best of intentions. And yes, were all guilty of taking things the wrong way and voicing our opinions before putting our brains into gear, were human Im not offended by anyone here and i sure as hell dont want to offend anyone so maybe we should just stick to bikes. Anyway, the UK spec KLR is better than all you foreigners ones hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

I must respectfully disagree with those who believe that it would be for the betterment of this board to limit the scope of comments to the narrow field of KLR 650 related subjects only.
As a collective of diverse individuals with a strong common bond, we should be able to express ourselves on a broad rage of topics in order to foster a sense of community among us. Properly moderated and cleary labled it can be done. I have taken part in the growth of just such a community on another board of like minded individuals. ( www.zrxoa.org/forums )

I agree with Big Chris completely. IMO we do discuss other topics, half the threads run off into a different direction usually and mostly in a humorous fashion. I love this place, Glenn, and think you have done an excellent job on it. I check here everyday and part of the reason is because it's fun and about bikes and people who love bikes. If I wanted to get involved in debates or arguments, get mad, I could always go to other boards. Besides, I'm a Canadian, we're generally too "nice" to argue.

My vote is to keep it as it is. The membership is growing and we're having fun. The first thing I used to do when I logged on to my computer was check my email. Now the first thing I do is go to KLR650.NET Forums! This place is almost as fun as riding. OK, OK...it's AS fun as riding!

Keep up the excellent work Glenn!
