<======================0========================== > Hey! Swamp-donkey, Sorry I didn't get back to you but I thought your question was a rhetorical one. I'd love to ride with you . Probably won't happen for a couple of reasons. One we're at opposite ends of the country and I most likely couldn't keep up with you. ![]() I was down in Waveland,MS (Jan of '09 ) with seven other guys from our church doing rehab work on homes still suffering from Katrina. Those folks there still need a lot of help. Best Regards, GGK |

I bought a '93 last year and it was a blast. I bought a barely broken in '08 this year and love it. 39 years old and between a 2 year old, 4 year old, 16 year old, 30 something super hot wife, and my KLR.....I don't know how the hell old I feel, but it definitely feels great. Life is good, even when I have to use the cage to commute.

Bought my 08 in April this year, Recently rode to Southern Utah, Taos NM and Colorado. Got home and had to ride through Yellowstone Park. Only live 100 miles from the Park. Turned over 4500 miles. I feel like a kid always looking for the dirt roads to ride. Always avoid the dirt on the big Yamy Stratoliner. Age is a state of mind. The KLR makes me feel 20 something even though the record states 54. "Live with no regrets."

53 and glad I got a lot more years in the saddle left.
The thing about getting older is it always beats the alternative. |
