Default Valve Shims with 685 kit

I am installing the 685 kit, did carb shimming and thermo-bob. What should I do for my valve clearance? Any suggestions?

Specs-
Left Exhaust .254 with 265 shim
Right Exhaust .229 with 270 shim
Left Intake .152 with 270 shim
Right Intake .152 with 275 shim

If you can get shims easily, go down 1 size on the intakes and let'r go. Check them every 6K miles or so, but you'll likely be good for a loooong time. You'd only need a 265. We usually end up with a zillion of those as take-outs.
all the best,
Mike

After i put my head together I measured all my shims and decided to make them all 265 to start fresh with...I figured out how much to remove fro the top of the valve stem and had them machined to get all shims to 265....worked exellently!

Beachbound.
Take your old shim over to Kelly's Kawasaki on Country Club in Mesa. They will trade you straight across, no charge.
Another possibility, if you would rather purchase a new shim and keep the old around as a souvenier, go to a BMW shop and buy a shim for a K75. Same size, same quality, but less than half the cost of the same shim from Kawasaki.
Ride safe.
