Russell day long

Does anyone know if Russell day long would build a seat off of a Corbin seat pan. I somehow misplaced my stock seat. Damned kids!,

Yeah, but he won't touch a Corbin pan either.

Fairly major discount for KLRs--$50 of a $319 price & if you can wait, he usually has some sort of a sale in the Fall. That price can be a bit deceptive, tho as you have to pay shipping both directions & that adds about $50 in cost.

That said, I just ordered a Sargents--no fuss, no muss--they use their own pans and it's just plug & play. Under $300--and as there's no shipping involved (unlike Rick Mayer) it's competitive with Rick's price. I like Rick's stuff, but I mostly chose Sargents because it appears to look most like the stock seat.

For now, I'm holding onto my stock seat. Worth perhaps $50--not really worth parting with it.
