Default waterproof GPS case

I was thinking of mounting my Nuvi 50LM from my car onto the KLR. Any thoughts on the Ram Aqua case? Checked out the motorcycle GPS's but can't justify spending that much money. Been using a Garmin 60CSx but the screen is pretty small, but would keep it mounted for the Topo maps I have loaded.

I'm not sure the size of your unit? But WallyWorld sells a case made by Outdoor Products that fits my cellphone with room to spare for under $10...

I used to use one of those Aqua Boxes. They work great for keeping the GPS dry but make it kinda hard to see the screen. It's also harder to work the touch screen thru the thick plastic face.

I use a car GPS all the time. Light rain is not a problem. If it rains really hard I either take it off or put a Ziploc over it.

I also have the 50lm. I couldn't get a ziplock bag to work very well so I just put it in my pocket for anything but a light shower.

Thanks for the info, I will pack a ziplock and rubber band. The touch screen functioning being covered was a concern.

I do this as well. I bought a 2nd nuvi 260W (car GPS) and if I catch some rain I toss a zip-lock bag over it.
