That's a new one...never heard of it...let us know if you find out anything about it, good or bad.

There are a bunch from Colorado headed up your way this summer.

Lock your women in the shed and get out your guns....

Bring your own women....to share....and our guns are never put away....unless we are headed to Canada.

Have your bunch look us up. Any chance they are headed to D2D?

I was thinkin the exact same thing!

Oh, and I have a free airline ticket for any of your CO women if they want to come up and meet me. At least they're already used to the snow.

what the colorado bunch doesn't realize is that many of our women will be the first on the porch WITH the gun!! If you / they make it to the Interior (Fairbanks area) give us a shout...we're few, but mighty proud to be KLR riders!

I saw on ADV that there was a pre-D2D KLR tech day being planned somewhere. Don't remember where.

I'll be in Alaska after the D2D, June 19-20. Don't know my exact route to Prudhoe Bay yet, though. I can help with KLR tech stuff along the way, but I won't be carrying doo tools or other "tech day" stuff with me.

If I'm in your area and anyone needs an extra hand with something, send me an invite. I'll have a website and rough itinerary posted within the next couple weeks.

Geberally, I expect to head for Prudhoe Bay from Dawson YT, then down through Denali to Anchorage, then west through Haines and Skagway before heading back to Colorado.

Well, you'll be in my neighborhood then...you can't to Prudhoe without going thru here, and if you're going to Denali after, you have to go back thru here again. I'll send you a pm and see what we can arrange with your schedule.

Hi,
Alaska Leather and The Abby have a 'good' supply most of the time. Have never tried the dealers.
It helps to know what you are looking for in road rubber and give them a shout before coming to Anchortown for replacment. Both places will mount your tires, but you must take the wheels off and on.
I have dyna beads in the tubes (Ak Leather) of the KLR. Of course.....does it make sense to balance TKC's?
