Thanks, BuffHunter. If you'll sell them for what you paid, I have a taker for your doo and spring. Remind me of this when you get here.

We'll have several sets of doo tools on hand, so no need to bring more unless you want to use your own or whatever.

Yep, I'll sell them at cost.

So, $100 even will do it.

If anybody coming to the Tech Day has a stock Gen1 exhaust for sale, please bring it to the tech day. I'm posting in the Classifieds as well, but thought this might get someone local.

Mine has been opened up somehow, and is pretty loud.

Thanks.

I'll echo your request on ADVRider as well, since there are several people coming from that crowd. Hopefully, someone has one for you. Otherwise, eBay or Steele's motorcycle salvage yard are your next best bets.

Don't have anything that really needs to be done to the bike, it pretty much got all done at the last tech day. (doohickey thanks to kawioops, Moab rear shock, new front springs)

Cathy may be coming too. If so, she'll probably drive and could bring some stuff like the small Sears motorcycle lift if it would help to have an extra one?
Well, I'm gonna have to bail on Saturday because of home commitments of a non-motorcycle kind.

SgtMarty, wish timing was better because I would like to make the trip to CO to make one of your Tech Daze. I just put my 2005 KLR on the road after a 3 year 10 months of garage duty and it needs a Rocky trip.

Okay, there's a 50% chance of rain forecast for the afternoon. We have room if anyone needs to stay over, and we can just hang out until things clear up.

Had a good turnout and everything got done with no drama.

Thanks to all who brought things to share, to help out, and just to socialize and meet new people.

Next one planned for September.

I enjoyed the tech day and finally meeting you, SgtMarty, and many of the others I met. I hope I was a help and not a hinderance. How is your foot? Is it any better? Is it swollen at all?

Thanks, Patrick. You were definitely a help. Whenever I can pair people up and not have to bounce all over the place, it helps me and everyone else out.

Teri I taught a police arrest control instructor's class that week, and somehow managed to over-strain my left foot (or maybe break it--haven't seen a doctor yet). Hurts like it wants to come apart. If I keep walking on it, it's a steady but manageable pain, but if I rest it a while, it hurts like hell when I next walk on it.

I stayed off the foot pretty much all day Sunday, and strapped it into a Pac boot just to immobilize it. It's a bit better today, but still waiting to see how it develops. Isn't swollen or discolored, which is weird considering how painful it is.

If it's not better in a day or two, I have it X-rayed. Even if it's broken, all I can do is keep it in the boot and use crutches--pretty much what I'm doing now.

Such is life.
