Just moved to Parker. Any KLR riders on here that are in the area? If so, send me a message.

This is wonderful. I will definitely be there. I want to check the doo and valves on my KLR and do some maintenance that one does not do on a regular schedule like swing arm lube and things like that. I also have a 2011 YZ450f that has a jammed kick start, either broken something in the kick start mechanism, or one of the cams jumped a tooth or it dropped a valve... LOL Not sure which yet!

If you're doing swingarm and other work, try to get here early so I can put you deep in one of the garage bays (since you'll be there a while).

For new people, bring oil and other fluids you will need, but I have tools and some consumables that are needed. I'm running short on some valve shims, too (details on sgtmarty dot com, on the tech day page).

Nope, we look at and work on 'em all. Even the Euro ones with all the plastic.

I am in Parker. I am always looking for fellow KLR riders to ride with and work on bikes with. I have a well supplied garage with all the tools, welder and lots of fab skills to share. I was a mechanic in a former life. I am currently recovering from a broken collarbone from a dirt bike accident in July. Waiting for the okay from my doc to start riding again, but I am always up for projects. PM me if you want to meet up.

Thumbs up Re: Anyone in the Denver area?

Hi all,

I'm a Denver dweller, but always looking for new riding buddies. Just picked up a Gen1 2007 KLR650 and open to an adventure or just a daily cruise! If you're in the area and ever wanna link up for a ride, hit me up!

I'm in South Aurora, Hampden and Chambers area. Looking to find someone to ride with.

We should try and get a group ride going before winter sets in.

Hi, I am in Aurora also. Chambers and Mexico. Would like to get out this winter. Should be plenty of riding available during the winter when the weather is tolerable. Jeff

Nice!

I'm thinking about heading up to the Bailey area Saturday. Still working on the skills so I'm not looking for any super technical stuff. If you're interested, let me know.

I'm already thinking about some spring rides. Although, technically speaking, we may need to have a winter before we get a spring.

Anyone have any interesting rides that a novice rider could tackle? I've ridden the fire roads around Lost Creek wilderness and I want to see some new sights.
