Default Went for a ride today...and...!

I was going to go Saturday, but the wife said, asked, you going to get the trim done today?
You guessed it, got the saws set up and did trim Saturday. Today, around 1:00, I could go for a ride, I was soooo ready!
Got my steed out, checked the oil(needed some) then I tryed to start her cold with the kick starter, just to see!?
After my foot hurt(you know, right in the middle), I hit the starter button!
Started on this one...

OK, went out hitting the Forrest Service roads, they just opened the gates April 1st.
I was riding, but also scouting for downed trees to bring the Stihl back too!
I decided to see if a friend was up at his shop today, he just got an '02 KLR and he's bringing it over next Sunday so we can do the Doo to it. He was there and his '93 VFR 750 was parked behind his KLR and much to my surprise, in our talking, he asked if I wanted to ride it!
HELL YA!
I took a couple shots with my phone, there smaller, but I think you get the idea. While I was riding I was trying to think the last time I rode a "street bike"?
The nearest I can figure is about 10 years at least...?
Oh well, it was a blast and I never saw that coming!?
He said I can ride it again and I think I'll grab my Nikon for that ride.

Did I mention it was Awesome!?

wow...nice little wrinkle to the afternoon!
VeryFunRide! (VFR)
There is not a better "family" of bike than the VFR. It's really hard to find one made in the last 25 years that "sucks"...
Good on ya' (as they say down under).
3.5 weeks and counting

Like I said, I never expected him to let me ride it and I have never held any of the Four companies in higher regard, but then I have never owned a Yamaha!?
I must say, I am looking forward to ridding her again, but it will just make me want a "4th" bike!
K, I bet your counting man, I wish we were closer(proximity that is) , I'd love to be there on one of your first rides!
