I'd go a nylon strap to the bars and one to the forward edge of the rear rack. Both are quite solid and should give the best ballance.

Going boating ar you?

Yes a little boating
We have alot of places we visit on the coast of BC small villiages and old logging roads that are boat access only and was thinking --- Why not
Nylon strapping is the way and the rear just behind the seat I was concerned really on the front bars and steering crown ether bending or breaking the crown
I think i will go for 2 on the front between the grips and the cross support this would spread the weight and make a tripod so there is no way of slipping sideways in the air
I think i will be alright as long as i keep the cable running smooth on the davit no jerking and keep the number of beers to a minium
Cheers
