Default 2013 Flooding

Hey all southern Albertans, hope this note finds you safe..and dry. We're all thinking of you and wishing you a safe return to your homes and businesses.
From just the people I've talked to here (southern Ontario),there are a TON of people who are concerned for you,and are pulling for you during this very trying time.

Thank you very much. The worst for us is over, and the city of Medicine Hat is the next in the path.

Thanks for the concern.
I'm in Medicine Hat and we are waiting to see how high the river will crest.
There is a real risk the TransCanada hiway will be closed and that will divide our city in two.
The officials have done a great job preparing and we are still sandbagging like crazy.
The next 12 hours are key.

Good luck . I hope you will be high enough. Lots of debris in the water. I think you already know about the 3 folks whom lost their lives. Remember it's just stuff so don't put yourself in needless danger.

I had some great pictures and video of the flooding around here, but, I was a bit of an idiot and cleared the memory on my GoPro memory-card before I transferred the files to my computer ...

I do have some still-shots with my other basic camera, but, unless you realize what you are looking at - it just looks like a lot of creeks and rivers flowing ... what is under some of those creeks and rivers is what you don't see ...
