Default Lane Sharing Legislation in AZ

Two state senators are pushing thru two separate SB's to allow lane sharing/splitting. Having lived in Calif for nearly 15yrs I know the advantages of this practice. Contrary to what many believe it is a safe and effective method of getting thru heavy traffic.

Here is a recent article giving overview and who the senators are for contacting them.

This link will take you to the contact page for all Az legislators. Be sure and scroll down for senators as there is a Farnsworth representative. Send both senators a quick email in support!

This would be great! Thanks for sharing Chuck.

Emails sent to John Kavanagh and David Farnsworth. From what I understood, the difference between the legislation is Kavanagh's would require a helmet for riders who want to lane split.

Cool! This is especially going to be nice riding in the Phoenix metropolitan area in the summer so riders don't have to wait through light rotations.
