No problem with your task list, Hammer09. I have some brake fluid on hand, but best to bring a new bottle when bleeding the line.

Alright folks, Sat is going to be busy for me with my laundry list of things to do for the Dino run. Who is riding down from up North? I am and would prefer to not take Idiot25, as I will be carrying two tires on my rear. I am thinking of leaving Longmont around 7am, as Google says 2 hours via this route
Takers?

KLR650 '12 here.
Both the bike and I are relatively new to this...

I just ordered the Doohickey parts, and would love for assistance with doing it right.

Asatrur & orco59, I am in Arvada and could tag-along if you like?

Is anyone driving down from Denver ? As in a cage. Need to get a package to Sargent Marty's tech day. It may be a little too big to carry on a bike.

Thanks

Well I may not be doing the Doo after all!

I did not order the Rotor Bolt, as I did not know it was required.
And all the metro area shops do not have it in stock.

Does anyone know how important it is to replace, or have an extra I can purchase?

Thanks!

Although it is recommended to replace the rotor bolt, I did not do it, and 34,000 miles later I'm doing fine.

My thermo-bob came in today, so I am wondering if folks feel I need to print the instructions or will there be enough experienced brains there to be in place of the trees?
Also, I am looking at needing to bleed my brakes for the new lines, so what do folks recommend for doing that other than squeezing?
Thanks

I have a vacuum bleeder to help with bleeding the lines. I need to bleed my KTM front line, too.

There should be a few people here who have done the thermo-bob but instructions can't hurt.

We plan on having some snacks and sodas on hand, and maybe something to throw on the grill. Feel free to add to the menu. There will be hot water for cocoa and coffee.
