Hey there, Dave.

There might only be a few wrenchers on Sunday, so it's likely to be a light day. Bring your bike (in boxes, if necessary) and we'll fix 'er up.

Gee I'd come by just to see a bike go from boxes to machine, that'd be neat!

I will plan on being there on Saturday unless my work decides they won't let me out. I've been really looking forward to a tech day since SgtMarty mentioned it to me back at the beginning of July. Hope to meet some of you fine folks there!

I will be there on Saturday. I'm not looking to do any wrenching but want to get familiar with my bike and what some of the necessary mods are.

Hi Marty,

I would still like to come down on Sunday, Sept. 19th. However, I understand if you can't make it a two dayer. Primarily, I need someone to walk me through a valve check. Also, I may want to install progressive springs, if time allows.

Thanks,
Shawn

I will try and drop by on Saturday. I'm prepping my KLR for my RTW trip and have many boxes of parts on order, so I'll grab a few parts and come by. Perhaps rear suspension work. I just ordered the MOAB shock from Cogent dynamics. Swingarm needs lubing. Subframe bolts need upgrading (drill-through variety).

Well my plan for what to work on has now been moved from maybe to most certainly. Marty ya think I can use a lift to swap my rear shock? Dirtfest claimed what was left of my stocker. Man trails get exciting with a pogo stick On the plus side fortune already has me with a replacement sitting in the garage I'd wanted to swap after riding Woodland Park and getting a good 'feel' for the stock, heh.

Swapping a shock is easy. No problems.

Looks like more people showing up than I first thought. If anyone can show up to help others with doos and valves, etc., please do.

If they want to meet up on their way through North Denver I'd love to meet up. I'm in Broomfield and I am planning to ride down early Saturday.

I'll be riding down with Robert (robbie7878) from the Northglenn/Thornton area. I hope to be on the road at about 7:30 ish, after breakfast of course. Denny's at 350 E 104th is just off I-25 on the S.W. corner of 104th and Grant, on the right past the Cemetery. I should be there at 6:30.
From there it's about 65-85 minutes to Marty's dependent on traffic.

Kind of figured posting details left it open, but I thought asking was a good idea. I shall plan on meeting you at Denny's.

*GASP* I'm not sure I should be hanging out with your like!

J/K So long as you love two wheels I'm good with ya, some bikes just might not be able to go where I'm going. But to be fair, I rode sort of with a 800 GS on Saturday and he went places I didn't go for fear of my blown shock. So in this case the Beamer proved more reliable, weird huh?

I'm the one coming down from Loveland. If there are any folks more North of Thornton that want to get together, let me know. If not, then I'll try to get my butt out of bed early enough and show up at Denny's. Looking forward to meeting some great folks that ride 2 wheels.

If anyone wants to do a doo or torsion spring on short notice, I should have several on hand. Some other EM products, too.

Weather forecast looks good so far. Should be warm and clear.

I can accommodate a few people overnight, for those who were planning on staying. Let me know if you are staying overnight, please.
