[quote=moooboy;1486494]I've done MAY mods to my 14 Klr, some off the top of my head. Which is the best mod you did?
/QUOTE]

Over the years I've done quite a few mods to my '08 as well. Don't tell my wife, but I'm not done yet. And no, I'm not going to list them. Whereas, it would be hard to list the best, the mod that came to mind first was the SW Motech center stand. I use that sucker at least once a day.

On my 2013 - best modification I made was the seat. I now have a Sargent seat - I can now ride for longer than 30 min. All the rest is FLUFF if you cannot stay on the bike.

Another vote for Cogent full suspension.
2nd for Sargent low seat. 3rd KLX needle. These three made my bike so much more fun to ride.

+1 for Cogent. Haven't done the front yet, but their "Adventure" rear shock was well worth the dollars - as in almost as much as I spent for the bike in the first place!

Technically not a mod, but I'm going to sing the praises of my Green Chile Uprising Soft Rack. Scored it second hand, but after using it a few times I'd not hesitate to buy new from them.

just got done installing hiper-lights in line with the turn signals, because left rear stem had broke. you can never have to many lights i only ride on pavement. then found both front stems broke, any one with an easier way to replace them than to remove the whole cowling? i can't get my big hands in there.

Kawasaki KX inverted forks and a 1" longer cogent shock both valved and sprung for the weight and big hits.

D606 tires, the stock tires blew off-road and on dirt and gravel which is where the bike and I live. The 606 has been the only tire that I've found with great traction and doesn't chunk lugs off. Opening the air box, carb, and exhaust was the most noticable improvement.

I have a tough choice between 2 of the many mods I have done on my 08. So I am going to list them both, it's a true toss up.

Madstad with adventure screen
685 kit

Both of these mods made this bike a truly all day adventure touring bike in comfort & capability.
