Default Hub/sprocket carrier interchangibility

So my rear sprocket carrier on my gen 1 has cracked along one of the threaded screws. I need to replace it but wondering if a gen 2 carrier will fit mine. Does anyone have an answer to this? Only reason i ask is because its earier to find a gen 2 carrier on ebay.

Should be the same but I don't have a Gen2 in the shop at the moment to confirm. I do know besides spacers Gen2 and Gen1 wheel is interchangeable.

Thanks for the reply Chuck. If the wheel is interchangeable then I dont see why the carrier wouldnt be. I reckon i'll buy it and if it doesnt fit then i'll sell it to fellow rider here.
