Default I can't access site from home, Comcast (403)

Was there an update 24-30 hours ago?

I am in Boston, and use Comcast. As of last night, and this morning, I get an error 403 access request was logged, but access was forbidden.

At first I thought the site was down, till I looked up the error code.

I am on here, just fine, from work, to ask this question.

Were there new filters put in place?

P.s. This is both win10, and iPad.

Thanks.

If it happened recently I've been working on things all morning, still am, but everything should continue to function just fine.
24 hours ago or more it was likely due to an automated backup.

What URL were you trying to access?

It sounds like it may be an issue with your home connection.
Go to www.whatismyip.com and e-mail it to me, I'll check it and make sure it's not blocked network side.
My e-mail is in my signature.

Was your internet access functioning normally other than trying to access this site?

Thanks

I will check the Comcast addresses I currently have for you, but I would still very much appreciate if you could verify your current ip for me when you get home.
Send it privately via e-mail and I'll do a reverse trace to verify the route is not blocked.
What I need is your external IP, what you "see" at www.whatismyip.com

Thanks again
I appreciate that you stepped up to a paid membership back in November, thank you.

Glen, my IP address is 10.0.0.1 (I'm kidding, I'm kidding!)

The problem was noticed last night, 7pm-ish, eastern time.
Couldn't access forums, OR parent url. Nothing worked, even though the server recieved the request, according to the error message.

Yes, my home connection was fine, for everything else - tv, other websites, and I was vpn'ed into work from home this morning. That's how I guessed that it was only an issue seemingly Comcast-based. I reached my klr650.net login over the Vpn this am, just fine.

Glad to help, this site and folks have been worth it.

Guys, it was my fault.
I apologize to those who were temporarily without access.

Steve you can now connect from both locations.

I've made several important improvements to security, mainly to the secure connection that is used when you connect to the website (mandatory SSL encryption) and how it talks to Cloud Flare.
Got the changes implemented but had blocked one of Cloud Flare's ip addresses from being able to access the server, Cloud Flare is what's used to log and prevent attacks on the website.

John, I responded to your e-mail as well. Disregard.
Should work great now.

Now I'm optimizing the site for search engines, setting things up in a particular way so that Google and Microsoft will hopefully re-index the forums and millions of posts.
When you search the internet I'd like you to see more search results from KLR650.NET

Thanks everyone for your support!!
