Default Big Gun Quiet Series muffler, How do you Rate them?

I am wondering how any other KLR riders who have the Big Gun Quiet Series Muffler like them? I have one which the PO placed on the bike. I have put about 4000 miles with it. I researched for a repack kit and while I was looking for one, i read that some people did not like them. So please is you have good or bad news please post it up. Thanks Jason

Wow, must not be a popular muffler.

So far I've owned three KLR's with three different cans. I had a Supertrapp IDS 2, Big Gun Quiet series as well as a Big Gun Race series, and stock can that has been modded with baffle removed. Out of the aftermarket ones I would have to say the Big Gun Quiet series would be high on my list cause it is decent quality and not too loud. The race series was horribly loud to the point where it was not enjoyable for long rides...the sound got to me after awhile....The Supertrap was okay but not as good as the Big Gun Quiet series when it came to quality of craftsmanship or sound quality. The downside to aftermarket cans to me is the outrageous prices as well as the maintenance or repacking every few thousand miles which is pricey. The stock can with the baffle removed along with an HMF turn down cap gives a thumper like sound I was looking for and is maintenance free and oh yeah... the price is right

I have the big gun quiet series currently on my bike. I have driven it around 4000 miles and have not repacked it yet. I like the sound and I don't think it is too loud. But I was curious because I don't see any big gun series for sale anywhere. I have to search for them. They seem not to sell them on there website. I just want to make sure that I was not going to have to replace my muffler. I looks great and sounds awesome. Thanks
