Default Important Michigan Insurance Info

Michigan motorcycle insurance---- I found out some interesting facts about insurance. The Michigan No fault Law does not apply to motorcycles since only vehicle with more than 3 tires is considered a motor vehicle. Basically, if you crash or are run off the road by a motor vehicle you are covered under no fault. If you hit an animal, just wipe out, or hit another cycle you are out of luck. This means no lost wages, unlimited medical, and so on. You can only get limited medical care if you purchase a rider on your policy. Reference lost wages, no such luck unless you get AFLAC or simliar plan. Also, you should get unisured and underinsured riders also.
I was shocked when I found this out. One simple crash can put in in the poor house with no lost wages coverage.

That BLOWS!!!!!!! I guess I need to read more into Alabama state law to see what they say about that, but I am pretty sure it isn't the same here.

You start out motorcycling with a full bag of luck and an empty bag of experience. The trick is to fill the bag of experience before you empty the bag of luck.
